Indas Door Assembly

The complete assembly of an exterior door can be done on this station. The door enters the machine via conveyor and then it is lifted for the right or left hand. The door lite is installed in the door with the aid of an air operated table. A jamb with the hinges attached is positioned beneath the hinge side of the door and gets clamped.

The door part of the hinge is then flipped up and is screwed to the door manually. The other jamb, sill and header are then placed in the moving nests and the whole frame is clamped via pnaumatic cylinders to achieve positive positioning and accuracy.

The nailing of the frame is done manually.

The complete door assembly is rolled into position, where the door assembly is tilted to a vertical position and is ready to be taken to the shipping area.
